Gobekli, Earth's Most Ancient Sacred Site?

Older than Stonehenge by 6,000-7,000 years, this archeological site in Turkey, called Hill of the Navel or Belly Hill, has just barely begun to expose its secrets. Around 11,000 BCE we humans were just coming out of an ice age--we'd painted figures on caves, but exactly why we created this temple-complex, no one really knows.

Klaus Schmidt, the archeologist, claims 43 of the 250 or more yet to be unburied stones show how accomplished early Neolithic hunter-gatherers were. Boars, foxes, gazelles and lions prance across stones, along with scorpions and many intricate birds--some being hunted with nets.

Energy Fields

I've just run across an interesting source of information that touches 
on sacred geometry, energy fields, etc.

I find this is of interest to our upcoming discussion on places that come  alive....

"When two energy fields are in resonance, and exchange information, 
something happens after the resonance is over. The two systems do not 
go back to their original state. A sort of vibrational “impregnation” 
occurs, which means that part of the new information leaves an imprint 
on the energy system. Systems then, are in constant evolution through 
resonance or interaction. But what is exactly implied by impregnation? 
There is a sort of MEMORY in every energy system."

The idea that every energy system has a memory is profound. Isn't it?  
When we come to a living place, what are we actually remembering? And 
what are we imprinting onto the place?
